item descriptions). For example, orders placed on Monday, December 20th, going to Georgia,
should choose UPS 3 Day Shipping to arrive December 24th.

You can see your shipping rate any time after an item has been added to your shopping cart by
beginning the checkout process and clicking on "CONTINUE". Since shipping is based on weight
you can see how adding items to your cart will affect your shipping price.

Prices start around $6.00. Prices are based on the weight of the items you purchase and your

Please note that the date of shipment is not counted as a separate
business day. For example, if you are in a 3 day zone and your package is
shipped on Monday you will receive the package on Thursday. *Most items ship

UPS Next Day Air Saver: Next business day before 5 PM. Please order before 2 PM Pacific
Standard Time Monday through Friday to receive your order the next business day by 5 PM.

UPS Second Day Air: Guaranteed on the second business day. Please order before 2 PM
Eastern Standard Time Monday through Friday to receive your order within 2 business days.

UPS 3 Day Select: Guaranteed on the third business day. Please order before 2 PM Eastern
Standard Time Monday through Friday to receive your order within 3 business days.

Military Mail: This service should be used by all of our customers who are stationed overseas
and receive APO mail. This service can take as long as 4-6 weeks to arrive, it is totally out of our
control. We ship all packages with insurance.

Shipping Policy

All orders shipped to delivery addresses within the contiguous 48 U.S. States will be shipped
via either UPS Ground, Federal Express Ground or Federal Express Air service. All orders
shipped to Alaska or Hawaii will be shipped via Air service.

If an item is on back-order or in the case of a delay in the shipping of your order, we will notify
you by email.

For customers in the Northern California Bay Area, we offer pick-up options at our San Jose

Shipping charges are actual and are calculated by UPS or FEDEX (within the 48
Continental United States).

These charges are shown when you have selected your items and proceeded to the
shipping section of the order page.

YinYangHome does not add any additional fees to the cost of shipping.

Foreign Shipping:

YinYangHome.com can only control the price of our products and the method of shipment.

All items entering a foreign country are subject to the assessment of duties, taxes, and
administrative fees. The destination country, not Yin Yang Home nor our shipping carriers,
determines these costs. If duties and taxes are assessed on an item, they are collected from

These charges must be paid by you; we have no control over them.

The taxes that are levied do not frequently change, however the monetary exchange rates vary
daily, but normally, not very much.

Currency Conversion:
All prices and costs quoted by YinYangHome.com are in U.S. Dollars, and all YinYangHome.com
sales transactions are in U.S. Dollars.

Credit Card Transactions:
When you purchase something with a credit card that is drawn on a non-U.S. Bank, the
transaction is handled by the Bank as follows: YinYangHome.com is paid in U.S. Dollars, and
your card is charged in Canadian Dollars (or your local currency) at prevailing exchange rates
determined by your card provider on the date of the transaction.

For Foreign orders we try to ship products by the best method possible, sometimes it makes
sense to use USPS and other times it is better to use FedEx. Only the product cost and the
FedEx Ground (or USPS) shipping charges are charged to your card.

In the use of FedEx, any applicable taxes and "Brokerage" fees will be collected, in Canadian
Dollars (or local currency), from you directly, by a Canadian (local) based, FedEx "in-house"
Broker.

Import Duty and Taxes:
Our Canadian (and certain other International) customers can be subject to a variety of Duties
and Taxes from their respective governments.

SOME YinYangHome.com products are manufactured in the US, and are covered by the "North
American Free Trade Accord" (NAFTA) and are exempt from Duty.

A Canadian Government "Goods and Services Tax" (GST) of 7%, of the product cost is levied on
all import shipments.
The "Provincial Taxes" (PST) vary from province to province. These taxes currently range from "0"
to "10%" of product cost.
If shipment is to a province where the "Harmonized Sales Tax" (HST) applies, you'll pay that
amount instead of the "GST" and/or "PST" tax.

YinYangHome.com MAY use FedEx Ground as our shipper. They have an applied "Brokerage"
fee that is based on the product "cost/value" that is being shipped. This fee is to recover costs
related to the "importation" of product(s) you have purchased, such as the collection and or
disbursement of taxes. In general we usually use USPS Express.

The tax amount and fee will be collected, in Canadian dollars, from you, directly by the "Broker".
Delivery Interval:

Canadian orders can take anywhere from 3-15 business days, from the day of shipment, to
reach the delivery destination. This, of course, depends on the destination province and delivery
method.

Providing there are no delays, YinYangHome.com will normally ship your order within 2-3 days of
it's receipt. Therefore, you can expect to have your order(s) within 5-18 days from ordering,
providing there are no delays through Customs.

Of course some of our Canadian and International (European) customers have received product
from us as quickly as 3 days from time of order!

NOTE: To convert U.S. dollars to Canadian (or any other currency) dollars, you can use any of the
